How to Cook Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries

Sweet potato is suitable for frying or in case air-frying as it is high in starch content. It’s okay if the fries are slightly uneven, as the shape of all sweet potatoes is different, but the more evenly they are cut, it will result in less burnt fries. 

Chop the two ends of the sweet potato and peel the skin off. I prefer to have the skin off but you can keep the skin if you like it. Be sure to scrub and wash it properly. Cut it into 1/2-inch thick fries. You can adjust the thickness depending on your preferences.

Next, place the fries into a medium bowl. Add olive oil, cumin, and sweet paprika. Combine and coat the fries evenly. Once, the fries are coated, place them in a single layer into the air fryer basket. Cook for 14 minutes at 400°F, turn the fries halfway. You may need to adjust the timing depending on the thickness of the fries.

This homemade Avocado Ranch Sauce is very healthy. It is made with avocados, nonfat Greek yogurt, and ranch seasonings. I have substituted mayonnaise with Greek yogurt to reduce the calories. Here’s how it is made.

In a food processor, combine avocado, yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, vinegar, parsley, dill, chives, onion, salt and, pepper. Pulse in short spurts until they combined.

Add a little milk until the desired consistency is reached. Cover and keep in the refrigerator.

Serve chilled; consume within 3-5 days.

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Sweet paprika

  • 1 large Avocado skin removed, halved, and seeded
  • 1/4 cup Plain Nonfat Greek Yogurt
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 clove Garlic finely grated
  • 1 tsp White vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp Dried dill
  • 1/2 tsp Dried chives
  • 1/2 tsp Dried onion
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup Milk
