WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THE AIR FRYER RAVIOLI

Here are the key ingredients for this air fryer appetizer.

Ingredients:

  • Ravioli: You can use a variety of different types and shapes for your ravioli. You can choose those with meat or cheese filling based on your preference. You can make fresh ravioli or use frozen ones. I am using frozen cheese ravioli. You do not need to thaw them before cooking.
  • Egg: To coat the ravioli so that the bread crumbs will stick.
  • Bread crumbs: To get the crisp outer layer of the ravioli.
  • Parmesan cheese: I like to add some cheese to the bread crumbs to increase the cheesy flavor.
  • Seasonings: I use garlic powder, Italian seasonings, salt, and pepper for the bread crumbs.

HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER RAVIOLI

In a medium bowl, break the eggs and whisk with a fork to break them up. In another bowl, add the bread crumbs, seasonings, and parmesan cheese. Mix them up evenly.

Next, take 2 to 3 frozen ravioli out from the bag at one go and dip them into the egg mixture then drop them into the bread crumbs. Coat the bread crumbs evenly on both sides of the ravioli. Set them aside on a tray. Repeat this until you finished with all the ravioli.

Next, preheat the air fryer to 400F for 3 minutes.

Place the coated ravioli into the air fryer basket. Spread them evenly and make sure you do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Do not stack them. Spray some oil on the ravioli. The oil will help to crisp up the ravioli.

Set the air fryer to 4 minutes. Cook for 4 minutes at 400F. After 4 minutes, open the air fryer basket and flip the ravioli. Once all the ravioli are flipped, spray some oil. Cook for another 3 to 4minutes.
