They are less oily and healthier, and you can enjoy them without feeling guilty.

Air Fryer Buffalo Wings

I love buffalo wings, but I hate the idea of frying them – so much mess and so many calories! Air fryer buffalo wings are keto and gluten-free and are super easy to make using the air fryer.

If you’re new to air frying, don’t worry. It’s so simple to use and clean. All you have to do is just set the time and temperature, and that’s it. If you do not have an air fryer yet, you should consider getting one. You can read these air fryer reviews to decide which is the right one for you.

How to Make Air Fryer Buffalo Wings?

Once you learn how to make Buffalo wings in an air fryer, you will not want to deep fry them again. It is so easy and fast and without all the mess.

First, pat dries the chicken wings. Use a paper towel to remove any excess moisture from the outside.

Then, in a medium bowl, mix the wings with a little oil and the garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, 1 tablespoon buffalo sauce, and salt and pepper. Make sure the wings are evenly coated.

Place the chicken wings in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Try to spread them apart and not overcrowd, so that the hot air can circulate evenly to produce a good crisp on the wings.

Cook on 400 F for 20-22 minutes until browned and crispy on the outside. Cook in batches if necessary, depending on the size of your air fryer.

Once the wings are done, place the wings into a large bowl. Pour over the remaining buffalo sauce and mix well to combine.

How to Make Homemade Buffalo Sauce?

This is my homemade Buffalo Sauce recipe. It only requires a few ingredients.

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the hot sauce, butter, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Whisk them together until they combine. Once the sauce comes to a simmer, remove the pan from the heat. Add a dash of salt to taste.

Allow the sauce to cool. Once it cools, the sauce will thicken. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator, it can last for up to a month.

Whisk it before serving over the wings.

These spicy and crispy Air Fryer Buffalo Wings are crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Best serve with ranch dips, carrots, and celery.
