Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

Chicken Wings:

  • 5 Chicken Wings
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Homemade Buffalo Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper To taste

Buffalo Sauce:

  • 1 1/3 cup Frank's red hot sauce
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 3 tbsp White Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • Salt To taste

Instructions

Chicken Wings:

  • Pat dries the chicken wings. Use a paper towel to remove any excess moisture from the outside.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the wings with a little oil and the garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, 1 tablespoon buffalo sauce, and salt and pepper. Make sure the wings are evenly coated.
  • Place the chicken wings in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Try to spread them apart and not overcrowd, so that the hot air can circulate evenly to produce a good crisp on the wings.
  • Cook on 400 F for 20-22 minutes until browned and crispy on the outside. Cook in batches if necessary, depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Once air fryer buffalo wings are done, place the wings in to a large bowl. Pour over the remaining buffalo sauce and mix well to combine.

Buffalo Sauce:

  • 1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the hot sauce, butter, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Whisk them together until they combine. Once the sauce comes to a simmer, remove the pan from the heat. Add a dash of salt to taste.
  • Allow the sauce to cool. Once it cools, the sauce will thicken. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator, it can last for up to a month.
