In a large bowl, mix the shredded mozzarella cheese, cornstarch, and water in a large bowl.
Then, roll the cheese mixture into ball-sized pieces and spread them out on a tray or large plate. Freeze until firm but not frozen solid!
Next, add the beaten eggs to a small bowl. In a second small bowl, stir together breadcrumbs with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and a little salt and pepper.
Coat the mozzarella balls in eggs then roll them around with breadcrumbs. Freeze for 20 minutes before repeating this process one final time to ensure that they are fully covered by an even layer of delicious coating!
Preheat your air fryer at 360F for 5 minutes. Spray some oil on the air fryer basket. Add the raw mozzarella balls to the basket. Make sure they are spread evenly to prevent overcrowding.
Cook the mozzarella balls for 8 to 10 minutes. Be sure to shake the basket every few minutes to keep them from sticking!
Once done, serve the air fryer mozzarella balls with your favorite dipping sauce.
