Air Fryer Donuts

This delicious treat can be made from scratch in an air fryer with ease. Covered with a tasty vanilla glaze, these Air Fryer Donuts are sure to please any sweet tooth. With these donuts, you get all the flavor and none of the mess and oil from deep frying.

How to Make Air Fryer Donut

In a large bowl, add the flour, sugar, milk, egg, melted butter, and yeast. Mix and combine the ingredients.

Knead the dough on a work surface for 10 minutes. If you choose to use a stand mixer knead the dough on high for 3 – 4 minutes.

Now place the dough in a large greased bowl and cover it and let it rise for about 2 hours, or until it doubles in size. 

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface. Punch and knead the dough. Then, roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch in thickness with a rolling pin.

Cut out the donut shapes with 2 different sized biscuit cutters.

Place the cut-out donuts on parchment paper and lightly brushed them with melted butter. Then, let them rise again for about 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, preheat your air fryer to 350 °F. Once the air fryer has preheated, gently place the donuts into the greased basket and cook for about 4 minutes.

How to Make Vanilla Glaze

In a large bowl, combine the powdered sugar, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Dip the air fryer donut into the bowl of vanilla glaze and let them cool on the cooling rack.
